In a world where everything seems to be accelerating faster and faster, Fields of Naecluda (literally Fields of the Cloud Tree) provides a welcome moment of reflection and contemplation.
Hailing from Grenoble, the capital of the French Alps, and drawing upon inspiration from pop, rock, and atmospheric metal, Fields of Naecluda invite you on a journey into the uncharted, where ambient, harmonic soundscapes give way to saturated guitars and emotional vocals.

The band's new album follows on from their critically acclaimed self-titled debut. Produced by Chris Edrich and Pierrick Noel (Leprous, The Ocean, Devin Townsend, Klone, etc.), UBUNTU is due for release on 25 October 2024.

Lineup
  • Michel Teyssier composition/bass/vocals

UBUNTU (2024)

"I am because we are"

Constructed etymologically like the French word "humanité", Ubuntu can also, by extension, mean "a human being is all human beings". Despite our differences, we all live with our own demons, our own thoughts, love, death and fear of the unknown. Produced by Chris Edrich and Pierrick Noel (Kadinja, Leprous, Klone, ...), the album's production highlights a sophisticated composition where nuances have the upper hand. Moments of calm give way to powerful guitars and the lyrical flights of an emotional voice. This album is a journey through the feeling of belonging to something greater than ourselves, and the notion of interdependence that binds us all together, making us Humanity.
